Restorative Practices Training

Transformative Conferencing June 13 & 14, 2013 at Lansing Community College.

A restorative conference brings together those who have harmed another with those who have been harmed.  It is a structured, formal process based on the principles of Restorative Practices.  The purpose is to establish the impact of what happened on those both directly and indirectly involved.  The conference model can be used in the juvenile or adult justice system or in other settings such as schools where there is a defined conflict or harm and a clear offender and a clear victim or victims.

Restorative Circles Training June 19, 2013 at Lansing Community College

Circles training is a one-day training that provides an introduction to the history, fundamentals and practice of Circles.  It combines lecture and first-hand experience to prepare attendees to use Circles in their every day lives.
